Alpha course consists of a series of talks addressing
key issues relating to the Christian faith.
Come
and join us - make new friends, eat a meal together,
listen to some inspiring speakers - you will also have
the opportunity to have some of those awkward or puzzling
questions about the Christian Faith answered without
feeling embarrassed ...

Follow-up Course - 'Challenging Lifestyles'
The course will start on Tuesday 22nd January 2008 at 7.30pm in Priory Hall, Princess Avenue.
The course we will be following is called 'Challenging Lifestyles' and is made up of 19 talks. These are on a CD by Nickie Gumble. After listening to his talk, we will have discussion time in groups, followed by prayer. We will aim to finish the evening at 9.15pm. This course will finish on Tuesday 11th March - a 7 week course. We will complete talks 1 and 2 which are on Beatitudes and then we will pick the most popular talks for the remaining 5.
If you don't wish to join this course in January, we will run a Third Follow-up Course in conjunction with our Eleventh Alpha Course starting in September.
'Living in the power of the Holy Spirit'
This course will be held at St Joseph's Church, Purewell on a Tueday evening starting at 7.30pm. It is a 7 week course starting on Tuesday 8th April and finishing on Tuesday 20th May. There will be an all-day session on Saturday 10th May. St Joseph's has run this course before and therefore it is appropriate to hold the Course there. Tea/Coffee available.
The seminars were written by John Vaughan-Neil, a Catholic solicitor based in London. They were first run in 1992 by St Joseph's Church, and have been updated and repeated several times since then.
11th Alpha
Our 11th Alpha Course and Third Folllow-up Course 'Challenging Lifestyles' starts on Tuesday 2nd September 2008 - Priory Hall, Princess Avenue at 7pm.
