Thursday 1st 12.30pm - Lunchtime Recitals - Sam Hanson (St Peter's, Bournemouth) Admission FREE. Retiring Collection. Light refreshments and ploughman’s lunches available in Priory House 10.30am to 1.30pm.

10.30am - 4p.m - PRIORY SUMMER FETE.

Stalls, Displays, Games,  Bouncy Castle, Refreshments including Cream Teas,  Crafts, Tower Tours, Cookery Demos, Barbeque and MORE!  Admission: Adults 50p, Children: Free

7.30pm - Celebrity Organ Concert - Margaret Phillips (International Concert Organist)

Weber, Bach, Saint-Saens, Sixten, Lefebure-Wely...

Thursday 8th 6.30pm - Special Evening Guided Tour - Special guided tours visiting ground floor and areas of the Priory not usually open to the general public including tower,  museum, crypts, belfry and roof space.

 

Not suitable for children under 8 years.

7.30pm - Celebrity Organ Concert - Thomas Heywood (Australia) Mozart, Chopin, Guilmant, Bach, Strauss...

Do come and hear the superb four manual Nicholson organ in Christchurch Priory played by some of our most talented recitalists.  It was completed in 1999, and after later modifications it is now one of the finest instruments in the South of England. It has more than four thousand pipes and sixty-three speaking stops. The detached mobile console enables the player to be on view during the recital.

Tickets available at the door : £6 unreserved
