2005 Events at the Priory (July - September)

July

Tuesday 5th - 6.30pm - Special Guided Evening Tour of the Priory.
Special Guided Tours of the Priory. Tours start at 6.30pm, last for about two and a half hours and include parts of the Priory not always open to visitors (e.g. Tower, Crypt, Roof Space and Archives). Total 337 steps.
These tours are not suitable for children under 10. Pre-booking is essential. Tickets £8.00 per person (including Souvenir Booklet) obtainable from the Head Verger at the Priory.

Thursday 7th - 12.30 pm - Lunchtime Recital: Graham Davies - Chippenham Parish Church.
Admission: Free. Retiring Collection Light refreshments and Ploughman's lunches available in Priory House 10.30am to 1.30pm.

Wednesday 13th - Organ Recital by Robert Sharpe, Director of Music, Truro Cathedral. £5 at the door.

Thursday 14th - 12.30 pm - Lunchtime Recital: Geoffrey Morgan - Christchurch Priory.
Admission: Free. Retiring Collection Light refreshments and Ploughman's lunches available in Priory House 10.30am to 1.30pm.
Please note the this is the last Recital in the present series. The next recital starts on Thursday 22nd September 2005 at 12.30pm.

Saturday 3rd - Battle of the Organs! An Organ Spectacular with Carlo Curley and Geoffrey Morgan playing the 4 manual pipe organ and an Allen 3 manual touring organ. Tickets £10 (Centre Nave - Reserved) and £5 (Side Aisles Unreserved) will be available from Christchurch Information Centre, 49 High Street, Christchurch. (01202) 471780.
