Christchurch is easily accessible and can be reached in the following ways:
The M3 and M27 provide easy access from London and the South East, and the M40 and A34 provide access from The Midlands. The A35 links Southampton with Christchurch and continues through the town on to Bournemouth, Poole and the South West.
There are frequent bus services in the local area that all stop on Christchurch High Street.
Yellow Buses: The 1a, 1b, 1c and 33 run between Christchurch and a combination of Poole, Bournemouth, Boscombe and Somerford.
Wilts and Dorset Buses: The x1 and x2 services run between Bournemouth and Lymington stopping on the High Street in Christchurch.

Please Note: Monday is Market Day in Christchurch and the High Street is closed to all traffic. Buses will stop at the Barrack Road stop not far from the High Street and all car parks in the area are still accessible.
South-West Trains provide a regular rail service between London Waterloo, Southampton, Christchurch, Bournemouth, Poole and Weymouth. Connecting regional and direct inter-City trains operate from Bournemouth.

Christchurch is only 9 miles from the port of Poole where Brittany Ferries sail to Cherbourg in France and Condor Ferries operate scheduled services to the Channel Islands. Excellent roads make Christchurch easily accessible to visitors from Northern Europe via the ports of Portsmouth and Southampton.
