The Parish of Christchurch consists of the Priory Church and the Daughter churches of St George's at Jumpers and St John's at Purewell Cross. The Priory Church and St George's also have halls which are available for hire. The Priory Church of England VA Primary School is in the Parish.

Preparation of new Church Electoral Roll

Notice is hereby given under the Church Representation Rules 2011 that a new Church Electoral Roll is being prepared. All persons who wish to have their names entered on the new Roll, whether their names are entered on the present Roll or not, are requested to apply for enrolment not later than 4th April 2013.
St George Jumpers Road
21 February 2013
In the late 1890s a Sunday School was started by Mrs Alica Carter of Wick at 4 Fitzmaurice Road (the home of Mrs Whiteley). A wood and galvanised iron building was built in 1898 as a Place of Worship. The Sunday School moved there and every Sunday the Rev George Seymour, whose Christian name was used for the title of the church, drove from Southbourne in a horse and carriage to take the service.
St John at Purewell

The foundation stone of the little mission church at Purewell Cross bears the inscription: 'To the Glory of God and in remembrance of her brothers - erected by Mary Long 1880'.
Priory Hall

A short walk from The Priory in Princess Avenue. Close to Quay and Quomps. Main hall with stage and seating for 120. Lounge room with cloakroom facility and seating for 25.
