The Anglican & Roman Catholic Churches of Christchurch

For a list of forthcoming Alpha Course sessions, see Services and Events.

The Alpha Course and the Follow-up Course ‘Challenging Lifestyle’ is for everyone and are run by The Anglican and Roman Catholic Churches of Christchurch.   They are an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a way that is relaxed, non-threatening, low key, friendly and fun.

There is a meal together at the beginning of each session which gives everyone an opportunity to get to know each other.  After the meal, we divide into two groups, one to stay in the Hall to listen to the Speaker for the Alpha Course topic and the other to go into the Committee Room to listen to a CD talk by Nicky Gumbel on the chosen topic from ‘Challenging Lifestyle’.  Both sessions have a time for discussion and sharing thoughts at the end of the evening.  We usually finish about 9.15pm.

These Courses run from September to early December each year, on Tuesday evenings, starting at 7.00pm in Priory House, Quay Road, Christchurch.  There is no charge for books or these courses, although we do ask for a small contribution towards the meal.

If you would like to come along to either of these courses, or would like further information, please contact Mrs Maureen Whiles, Parish Secretary/Alpha Administrator on 01202 485804 (option 3) (9.00am - 1.00pm weekdays).

Listen, learn, discuss and discover... And ask anything.

Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile.

Alpha is for Everyone ... Come and See.
