Junior Church and Little Church

Junior and Little Church take place on Sunday during the 9.30 am Sung Eucharist throughout school term time. There are less formal activities during the school holidays. The classes take place in Priory House adjacent to the Priory Church.

There are five classes in Junior Church: Preschool, Reception, Year 1 and 2, and 3 and older. Little Church is a new addition and provides a playgroup-cum-class for younger children, including babies and toddlers, who are not ready to take part in a class without a parent or carer present.

At Little Church, the fun activities such as drawing, crafts and story-reading are specifically in line with the 'theme' of the Junior Church classes that morning - whether it be customising a cardboard cut-out of Joseph and his multi-coloured coat or making their own greetings cards. All classes will regularly come together for joint activites and special occasions such as the nativity play, seasonal parties and other gatherings.

We have recently added a third group called Foodies for older children, aged 7 years and upwards.
